NCKU Center for Taiwanese Languages Testing (CTLT) was officially established in March 2010. CTLT is the official center under the Research and Service Headquarter, National Cheng Kung University, TAIWAN. The objective of CTLT is promoting Taiwanese culture and improving the quality of Taiwanese teaching and testing. CTLT was formerly known as a project center for Taiwanese Languages Testing under the College of Liberal Arts, NCKU, as well as the General Taiwanese Proficiency Test League. CTLT is currently the only professional institute of language testing for the Taiwanese languages in Taiwan. General Taiwanese Proficiency Test (GTPT) is designed and conducted by the center. GTPT is scheduled to be conducted evey July and January.
